Mooky's Back & Drumming for your Attention
I can’t believe my last post was back in December! Time sure does fly! I could blame it on my lemon of a computer, Mooky’s unwillingness to cooperate or just plain laziness. I know Blah, Blah, Blah & Blah! What matters is I finally am back blogging! However all of the above excuses are the truth except for Mooky’s unwillingness to cooperate since we all know what a “Ham” is he!
This is Mooky’s new favorite spot which I find surprising since I bought this cage over 4 years ago and up until a few weeks ago he was afraid of it! I realize sometimes if a new toy is introduced to him it might take him a few days, even weeks to get used to it but 4 years! But now every chance he gets he flies from his perch in the living room into his room to perch on top of this cage.
Go figure!

Sharon,
I can feel your pain. Our Grey, Beaker, loves only my husband. Even though she was my dream bird, he is the one who can hold her.
When we try to introduce anything new my husband will walk around holding it and talking to it (yes, it is strange). Sometimes he puts a toy on his shoulder and pets it for weeks before she will even go near it.
Oh, but we love her!
Mooky can really shake it!
Luckily for me I'm Mooky's Human of choice.
What I funny is that Mooky likes learning from Bill more than me.
I think it's a challenge/competition in his own little mind!
patti sprunger tucker is my facebook... what is yours so I can be friends w/ you

Mooky keeps excellent rhythm!
Welcome back to the net. :D
Haha, maybe Mooky can team up with the piano playing cat as seen on Youtube and create a animal band.
Of course, there's these cardinals whom been drumming on our windows on and off for several months too. LOL
Going to have to blog about them but just been too occupied with things.
it sounds like he's playing a tamborine. what a cutie!
woofs.
I really loved Mookys exercise video. Thanks to his routine I now have wonderfully toned thighs...
Gosh, it's great to see Mooky again and see you blogging. Welcome back and I hope we see more of your blogging!
Hello! :) Mooky sure is cute with that toy, what a great idea for a toy. Isn't he funny, waiting 4 years to try out something new. Jazzy always considered anything that came in the house as hers. One time we got a table unit and were putting it together. Once it was done and Jazzy discovered it wasn't actually a new cage or perch for her she was most disappointed and quite shocked, because up to then everything that did come in the house new was for her! :)
hey Mooky! we just wanted to tell you that our sweet birdy, Chloe, flew over the rainbow bridge on 6/10/09. little Jasper Beetle is all alone now. then our bird lady extraordinaire, Charlene, said that she is looking for a home for Foxy, her 11 year old grey! (she has many many birds) so we think that Foxy may come home with us next weekend (around july 4). isn't this exciting! mom is happy and we wanted to tell you the sad news about Chloe, and the happy news about Foxy!
woofs
Awww, he makes my heart melt. It's been almost a year since I've visited Mooky's Hood!

Great video!
Hi there... this was a cute video...I stopped checking here because it had been so long, ha! and now I see there was a post in May.
I love your bird. Buster, my African gray is 20 years old and still afraid of his own shadow. I'm going to try to see if he'll shake the ball. Unfortunately he'll probably destroy it...that's his job!
Been taking movies of him and hope to get them acceptable soon. Love your video!
