What's In Here?

The other evening I was in the kitchen fixing dinner and like any normal person I went into the refrigerator to get some things out and left the door open while I put the items I took out on the counter. When I went back to close the fridge door there was Mooky perched atop it inspecting the contents. Not only did he inspect the contents inside but he also found it necessary rip the things I have stuck to the front of the door with magnets. (Unfortunately that picture was too blurry to post.)

Even after I closed the door he would fly back to it but he wasn’t able to perch on it while it was closed. I finally had to stick the feather duster in the crack between the fridge and the cabinet to keep him away.

Very cute :) Jazzy used to be very interested in what was in the fridge, and she thought chewing on the rubber seal while she was perched on top of the door was a great idea!

Have a great Christmas and New Year!

Ahhh, I think you should leave the door open for him, to come and go as he pleases and play with the ketchup. Glad to see a photo of him again. cute mooky.

Who knew Mooky was such a critic? ;-)

Perhaps Mooky is not happy about the things you eat Sharon. he wants to prescribe new diet for you. perhaps he prefers organic.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and Mooky.

Mooky is a very curious guy. he probably wants to make sure that you are giving him the best of the food that is in the refrigerator!

woofs.

Now that he has his mischevious eye on the contents of the fridge, it's uncertain how long a feather dust can hold out against a curious marauder!

Hey Sharon! Loving the pictures of Mooky as always. I am getting a new birdy member of the family today. My friend's mom no longer has time for her Sun Consure so I am going to take him for her. Should be great fun!!

Sharon,

Max does the same thing. Every time the freezer door opens, she flies over these. We can not have magnets within her reach, so there is a space of several inches.

Also, like Jazzy, she's eaten the seal between the door and the unit.

How funny that they are so similar in this respect!

I really love your blog. I'm so glad to see there are other parrots out there being spoiled. (It makes me feel normal).
