Visitor At My Front Door

I found this little green guy just outside of our front door when I went out to get the mail. And as usual I couldn’t pass up the opportunity of photographing him… especially since I’ve been so bad at updating my blog these days. For a bug I think he’s quite handsome or should I say pretty because who knows he may actually be a she!

After the photo shoot I placed him in the plant next to the front door. He stayed there for hours not moving an inch and then the last time I checked he was gone!

Sharon ~ Even though it really is called a praying manthis, I always thought it looked more like a preying mantis! Creepy... but that are actually really good for your garden and its plants! NICE SHOTS! ~ jb///

We don't get such exotic insects as that in England. Dragonflies and Stag beetles are about as fancy as it gets!...

It may be handsome/pretty or whatever...but it's got more than 4 legs.

Anything with more than 4 legs makes me scream like a little girl.

I know, I'm pathetic....

That is a awesome pic. Really cool.
Oh, I had one of those on my bed room window at night a few years ago. Might have been big as yours.
