One morning while having my tea outside I was lucky enough to get a good picture of this humming bird enjoying a taste of the Cape Honeysuckles!

Great capture!
I love the pictures of Mooky and his ducky. :) He's a beautiful bird.
I saw your comment on my picture at bird-a-day blog so I thought I'd respond.
The last few days of Sapphire's life she was separated from Buttercup to make sure the sickness wouldn't spread. Buttercup adjusted well to the loss, became people friendly, and made friends with my cockatiel, Willow. He would probably benefit from another parakeet, but then I would have a bad case of cockatiel jealousy on my hands. ;-)

Thanks Honey for your request for some Mooky stories. I intend to take more pictures of Mooky this weekend and maybe if when of those pictures will have a great story to go with it.

Elizabeth thanks for stopping by! It sounds like Buttercup has adjusted well with the new found friendship with Willow. We never got Mooky a companion we wanted him to bond with us and not another bird.

TCO again thanks for visiting. And the photo of the humming bird amazed me too when I downloaded it to the computer. I guess it was enjoying the cape honeysuckles too much to worry about me taking its picture.

That's a great picture of a humming bird, Sharon. We don't have them in Australia but I did see them once at Mt Robson in Alberta, Canada.

Good luck with your blog. You take very interesting and colourful photos.
