Loopty-Loop Palm

Hey I know this isn't a bird, creature or even something growing or crawling in my garden but when I went on a walk the other day for my lunch break I found this Loopty-Loop Palm Tree. I must admit I've never seen anything like it...So of course I thought it might make for an interesting post.

It was hard to capture with my camera since the Loopty-Loop Palm was so big... thus so many shots posted. I wish I knew the story about this palm to share but sorry to say I don't. Who knows maybe one day on one of my walks I will be fortunate to meet someone who can tell me the story behind the Loopy-Loop Palm!

What a wonderful image! I would love to have a palm tree like that because most of them are so boring. I wonder how they keep the lawn mown underneath it :)

That's the most amazing plam I've ever seen.

I wonder if they trained it, or if it was a storm?

Hey Sharon! This palm tree is awesome!!! I can only imagine what a pain in the rear it makes mowing the lawn though! I hope you're having a great 2008!!!

Well! That's quite some palm tree, and I love your name for it. I've never seen anything like it. Trees are quite amazing things! So are plants. If you look closely and let your imagination run, with time sped up...they can even appear quite scary...looking to take over the world. :)

That's the strangest looking tree that I've ever seen. I wonder if it grew that way on it's own or if it was 'trained'.
