BEAR!
This morning when I was putting the mail out I spotted a bear in my yard. By the time I found my camera he was in my neighbor's front yard. This was my first bear sighting... how exciting!
Sorry I haven't been posting on a regular basis or visiting your blogs but I've been just a bit busy these days with work & the holidays. I hope to get back into the swing of things soon!

Sharon ~ OOOPPPS! I never had a bear in the yard before. A deer, a wild turkey and lots of squirrles and an occasional hawk and pheasants and racoons, but never a bear. I don't frankly know what in the heck I would do! But I doubt I'd go outside! A picture (from the inside) of the house I guess! I did however want to stop by and wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas! ~ jb///
A BEAR!!!!!!!! I've never even sighted a bear! Thanks!!
Wow that's very cool. They must be really hungry this year to go in to the neighborhoods.
Hummm I wonder if I'm next. LOL
Because two nights ago we had a small Eastern screech owl sitting on our charcoal grill. Didn't take any pics for obvious reasons.
Another rare site if you ask me.
bear?!....how cool is that! wow, thanks for sharing, sharon.
wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year, Sharon! hope you have a great one.
That is amazing!! I love it. Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Have a great Christmas Sharon! Give Mookey hugs and perhaps a few grapes from us all!!!
been a dry year. Their hungry-- I don't remeber them coming down this far, higher in the Canyon is more common.
A bear!! It's exciting when you are safe inside the house. How would you know whether it's safe to come out or not? Thanks for the great shot and for sharing that bit of excitement.
Wishing you and yours and Blessed Christmas and a fabulous year ahead.
Hi Sharon,
Wow! how exciting to see a bear. I saw one or two up real close when I went to a wildlife park in Oregon where they were kept out in the open and able to roam. Ever since I saw them (with a fence between me and them!) I have a real soft spot for bears - they're so cute.
Wishing you and your loved ones and Mooky especially too a very lovely Christmas and many good things for 2008!
Your're so lucky! I'd have loved to have seen that...
This is a great photo. We had a mountain lion once here.
Have a great holiday Sharon.
